Jacksonville- Diane Messer McKenney, 64, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday May 13, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born August 3, 1953 in Binghamton, NY daughter of the late, Byron and Sophie David Messer.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Infant of Prague Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 PM at Jones Funeral home of Jacksonville.
She is survived by husband, Larry McKenney of the home; daughter, Bridget Harrison (Matthew) of Jacksonville; sister, Lorriane Messer of Jacksonville.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Hurley and her Scotties who have gone on before her.

Diane has been in my life as long as I can remember. She was a gentil soul that loved all. Her love showed through everything she did rather it was just giving the biggest hugs, baking some yummy stuff or her arts and crafts there was something for all. Mrs. Diane will always be in our hearts and amoung the angels. Sending my love durring this time of her celebration of life. Love yall bunches!
