JACKSONVILLE - Edward Earl “Red” Stevens, 79, of Jacksonville, died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Wilmington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at Jones
Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel with Rev. Daniel Flynn
officiating. Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.
Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his companion, Annie Marie Daw Florek; sister, Betty Lou Hudson; brothers, Jerry Stevens, Larry Stevens, Johnny Stevens and Donald Stevens.
He is survived by his sister, Brenda Aycock of Jacksonville; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and four stepchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday morning, prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the funeral home.

I have known Red a long time. He worked for my Dad and we all thought the world of him. My dad, Mercer Faulkner at Travelers Service Station on Lejeune Blvd., many years ago. I am so sorry for the familys lost. God Bless you all.
