Jacksonville, NC – Kiki “Paraskevi” Xanthos, age 94, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord with her family by her side on February 2, 2018. Born in Kardamyla, Chios, Greece she is survived by her husband John Xanthos; her children Katerina (John) Psilos, Kalliopi (Emmanuel) Semanderes, and Mark (Antonia) Xanthos; her grandchildren Constantine (Irene) Psilos, Nickolas (Kendal) Semanderes, Marianne Psilos, John (Leah) Semanderes, John (Negin) Xanthos, George Xanthos, Mark Xanthos, Kelly (Hadi) Shah, John Psilos, and Alex Semanderes; and her 10 great-grand children Maria Psilos, Evangelo Psilos, Stamatia Psilos, Antoinette Psilos, Chloe Semanderes, Katerina Psilos, Emmanuel J. Semanderes Sophia Semanderes, Daria Xanthos, and Leonidas Shah. She will be missed greatly by her children, grand-children, and great-grand-children.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 11:00am at St. Nicholas Orthodox Chapel on Camp Johnson. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park in Swansboro. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
