Gerald “Jerry” Jacob Naumann, 71 of Jacksonville and formerly of Shelby, OH, passed away Tuesday morning at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC
Jerry proudly served his country in the US Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also in the American Legion and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 291 in Shelby, OH.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Mary Ann Naumann of the home, daughter Tamie Naumann (Julie Poth) of Shiloh, OH, son Ryan Naumann (Tamara) of Galion, OH, brothers Terry Naumann (Bev Tracy of Tiffin, OH and Doug Naumann of Bellville, OH, granddaughter Cortney Hite (Clint) and great grandaughter Allison Hite.
Services will be private per family request.
Donations may be made in Jerry’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
