Mildred Dyseven Gayton, 83 of Jacksonville and formerly of Lake Harris Landing in Leesburg, FL., passed away Friday evening at her home in Jacksonville, NC.
Mildred worked for many years as a Leesburg Regional Medical Center Volunteer. She loved music, and especially enjoyed any and all musicals ranging from Broadway to local productions.
She is survived by her husband William Gayton of the home, sons William A. Gayton and wife Hilda “Jhill” of Jacksonville, Jeffrey Gayton of New Windsor, NY, and Joseph Gayton and husband Bill of Middletown, NY, and her grandchildren William J. Gayton, Heather Gorman and husband Derek, and William C. Gayton.
Services will be held December 2, 2:00 pm at Grace Episcopal Church, 58 North Street Middleton NY 10940
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Our hearts are filled with sadness to hear you are gone, but happy to know you have gone to heaven to be with family and friends who patiently waited for your arrival. You have always been a kind loving women who always cared for others your entire life..When I young you were always kind and loving towards me and all who had the pleasure of knowing you. We are praying for your family and friends that God will give all strength during this time of adjustment, quicken your hearts and Grace all with her presents in Jesus name AMEN. With much love and fond memories you will be always thought of and loved. Bless you always!!!!
