Celebrating the life of Dennis Michael O'Neil
Thank you for signing Dennis Michael O'Neil's Guestbook
Hey Bro, Sorry it took so long to write, but I wanted to pretend you hadn’t left us yet. And you really haven’t, because I talk to you a lot in my head just like we talked this past year and a half. That was such a gift. So thanks for opening up and letting me in. During that short time I saw you grow emotionally. You looked inside yourself without denying what you saw and that can be the hardest moment of a person’s life. Many people can’t take that step. It takes courage to dig deep inside because we might not like what we see. But that is where we start if we want to be a better person. Honest introspection is difficult enough, but telling someone you saw a very flawed self inside takes mental bravery and emotional strength—and you did that. I am so proud of you, Denny. You made me a better person this past year. I want the world to know this. You died in a state of Truth. It is not the end, it is a great beginning. I love you, Den. See you in the quantum field.

Toni, please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Denny was a special friend and I really feel honored to have known him and worked with him all those years at Miller Clinic. He was a great teacher and clinician. I just wanted you to know that the "Hugo" coffee table that Denny made is still in my living room today. It is a cherished piece of furniture and our daughter learned to walk around it,our dogs teethed on it and my husband and I eat on it every night. That table reminds me of Denny everyday. It is sturdy, strong and a little rough around the edges and we loved him. I will always remember the fun get togethers the gang had out at your house in Monroe...fire ants and all. And the camp out in Hubert.. Those memories as well as all of the others will always be treasured by me in my heart. Peace be with you Toni. May our dear friend rest in peace. And you are right, love never dies. God bless.
