This has broken our hearts. He had so much knowledge and history, i could have written a book. He always made himself at home when he cane visiting when we we re down. I'm sorry, we are lot 8 in the Ritter's mobile home park. We're the last trailer. We heard he was sick and went down last Sunday and spent somec time with him. I carried Little Bit out and George cleaned up the bathroom. We took him some Brunswick stew but he didn't want any then. He'd look at me and his eyes would water up. I took his hand and,he held it till we left. He told us he thought alot of us. We felt the same. I said a prayer because he was hurting in his chest when he had or tried to cough. I have lost a dear dear friend. I'd go up there or he's come to our place and we would walk around in garden, his Clamit Shack or cut grapevine for me to make wreaths. I loved your mama but your dad was extra special to us, our little dogs and to all who met him. I'm so proud to call him,"my friend, my communicator and a Jack of all traits. If there is anything we can do, we would both feel honored to do it for him and for you. Now, I know why I couldn't get him at the hospital now. Bless us all during this period of lost and remembrance. Vicki Edwards
